My cousin Dorien and her boyfriend Patryk got engaged this summer. For their weddinginvitations they've asked me to do a photoshoot. You'll find some of the pictures in the 'Portraits' section!

Rainy Sunset

The combination of rain and sunshine usually results in a rainbow. This time, the combination resulted in a stunning reflection of the train station of Leuven. Sadly, I didn't had my camera on me to capture the moment, but since we're living in the age of technology, I still had my smartphone to take a picture! The picture was edited with Instagram.

Listen with your Heart

During the shoot with Matilde and Soetkin (have a look at their portraits!), I took this picture of Matilde. It immediately reminded me of one of my favourite Disney-classics, Pocahontas.

The title of this shot is based on the song of the movie, which you can watch below. Nostalgia included!

Selfportrait (château style)

In one of the bedrooms of the Castle of Brézé, I came across this scene. I immediately loved the sober colours of the wallpaper and the mirror. It was a huge contrast, compared to the other rooms. Fireworks

I'm actually pretty proud about this one! It was taken on the beach in Ostend. I used long exposure (25") to get all those different kinds of fireworks in the same shot. And, it was a nice chance to use my tripod!

Sunset at Sea

In Ostend, at the Belgian Coast, I was able to capture an amazingly beautiful sunset. The beach coloured astonishingly orange ... It was one of the most breathtaking sunsets I've ever witnessed! I thanked God I had my camera with me! 

Waiting for that True Love's Kiss

What started out as a silly idea during my shoot with Eva (for the results, have a look under 'Portraints'!), became a fairytail-like shot. It seems like she's waiting for her prince to kiss her awake!

Spring is in the air

Hmm, don't you just love that Spring-feeling? The flowers blooming, the sun returning ... when everything is looking joyful again? I adore it!

This photograph was taken on a photoshoot with Eva (you can find her pictures under 'Portraits'). For just this one shot I turned my camera away from her, and I'm pleased I did!

Take my Hand

It has been a while since I've taken pictures, but the cold weather has kept me inside for a few weeks. But since last week, the sun has returned! So did the trips with my Nikon. 

In this picture you see my little cousin, Aiko, take the hand of my sister, Rebecca. The gesture is so honest and lovely. With the light of sunset in the background, I think there's something magical about this shot.
